Greater Manchester Poverty Action
The report is a response to growing interest in how localities can respond to poverty, taking more of a preventative approach and moving away from crisis responses towards reducing poverty. In an era of perpetual crisis, the report can enable local authorities, working with their partners, to create a structured and systematic approach to the issue.

Greater Manchester 2024 Poverty Monitor
The Poverty Monitor is the only resource of its kind, dedicated to revealing the scale and nature of poverty in the city region. The key aims of the Poverty Monitor are to:
- provide a multi-dimensional picture of poverty in Greater Manchester;
- raise the profile of poverty and inequality in Greater Manchester among stakeholders, including local authorities, the VCSE sector, academics, businesses, and journalists; and
- equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle socio-economic disadvantage in their own activities, from policy development to service design, advocacy and campaigning.

The Greater Manchester Independent Inequalities Commission Report
The Independent Inequalities Commission was launched in October 2020 with a six-month mission to examine inequalities across the city-region, consider how they should be tackled and outline specific, ambitious recommendations. Their findings highlight a range of progressive actions already being taken in Greater Manchester and elsewhere and consider how they can be embedded within public service delivery at all levels, responding to the immediate challenges of the pandemic and pivoting towards new ways of doing things in the future. International Women’s Week Activity Book
The workbook, created by Nadia Ali & Sadia Akbar and funded by Heaton Norris Community Centre & Make a Difference Community Group, is to help youth and community groups with delivering and raising awareness of key issues around women and girls’ rights. The contents of this workbook include activities for participants to engage in as well as educational content that will develop significant and vital knowledge on key issues that exist within society.
