Grants between £1,000 and £5,000 are available for ambitious projects that raise awareness about climate change and enable people to take climate actions.

There'll be 2 rounds of the CAN Catalyst Fund across 2024 and 2025:

-Round 1: applications open from 25 March to 30 June 2024

-Round 2: applications open from 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025

The CDL Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in the borough of Stockport.

The Fund aims to support the activities of local community or voluntary groups and projects that contribute positively to the quality of life, wellbeing and improved health of people and communities which address any or all of the priorities listed below:

- Digital inclusion

- Older people

- Children and young people

- Stronger communities

- Environment

- Health and Wellbeing

Grants are available for community groups and voluntary organisations across Stockport for projects and activities that positively contribute to the environmental, economic, or social wellbeing within a particular ward. Grants of between £50 and £1,000 are available.

Grants are available for local community groups in the UK who are affected by the increase in the cost of living. Volunteer-related costs, rent/utilities expenses and food/essentials are supported by the grant.

Applications are now open for a share of £2.4 million government funding to deliver local projects with a communities and place theme. The funding aims to address the diverse challenges faced by communities, enhance local assets, foster social cohesion, and create opportunities for economic growth.

The initiative invites employees working for either TK Maxx or Homesense to apply for a grant on behalf of a local charity. Grants can be as small as £500.

A variety of funds available including their regular Green Token Giving fund.

Green Token Giving supports small, local, grassroots organisations making a positive impact in their local community. Each year, Asda customers have the chance to nominate and vote for their favourite local good cause via the Green Token Giving programme. Each superstore will feature three community projects online that have been nominated by customers and colleagues. They will all be local, grassroots organisations having a positive impact on their local community. The group with the most online votes will receive a £500 donation with second receiving £400 and third place receiving £300.

The grant is always open for applications from charities and community organisations to bid for up to £1,500. Three projects in 575 local communities are voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK, with projects changing every three months.

The Proper Good Investment team offer affordable and accessible social investment aimed at small and very small social enterprises and charities that trade, including new organisations. There are three tiers: Early Stage Loan Fund, Scale Up Loan Fund and Buildings Loan Fund.

If you refer an individual to the investment programme and they are subsequently approved, your VCFSE organisation will receive 1% of the total award for the early stage and scale up funds when the investee draws down.
